How you dry your clothes can be just as important as how you wash them.

Air dry when possible: Air drying clothes (especially delicates) helps avoid the heat damage that dryers can cause, such as shrinking or fabric breakdown. Hang garments or lay them flat to dry.

Use a low-heat setting on the dryer: If you must use a dryer, choose a low or medium heat setting. High heat can cause clothes to shrink and fade faster.

Dryer balls for fluffiness: Tossing in dryer balls can reduce drying time and minimize fabric tangling, helping your clothes maintain their shape.

Fold and hang clothes properly: Delicate items such as sweaters should be folded to avoid stretching, while items like shirts, jackets, and pants are better off hung to retain their shape.

Avoid overcrowding in closets: Overcrowding your closet can cause your clothes to get crushed, leading to wrinkles and even permanent creases. Give your clothes space to breathe.
